Join an international consulting firm specializing in the transformation of large organizations, within their department Data & Technology. They bring together several thousand consultants, engineers, and experts worldwide and support major corporations with issues regarding Data, Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation and complex technological architectures.

You will integrate them Data Factory and you will act as the technical lead for the platform Payment & Fraud, in an environment where data quality, availability, and reliability are particularly critical issues.

Mission & Expected Results:

Design and evolve The platform data architecture on GCP, from the datalake to the pipelines Talend down to the rendering layers Power BI, while defining the principles of modeling, scalability, and performance.
Drive the technical designs of the new features — ingestion, transformation, KPI calculation and data exposition — and define the engineering standards to maintain a coherent architecture over time.
Guarantee the quality and robustness of production pipelines by structuring monitoring, processes CI/CD, the automation and industrialization of workflows, while intervening on incidents and their root cause analyses.
Support and foster progress Data developers through architectural decisions, code reviews, and the sharing of best practices, while working with business teams to transform their needs into reliable, high-performance, and scalable technical solutions.

PROFILE WANTED for the position of GCP Data Tech Lead

You have a degree from a engineering school, a Master's degree in computer science, Data or equivalent, and you have built meaningful experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture.

You ideally have at least 7 years of experience in data environments, with proven experience as Tech Lead, Lead Data Engineer, or Data Architect and a real ability to make engaging technical decisions.

You are particularly skilled at:

Google Cloud Platform – GCP and Data Cloud architectures; ;
the architectures of data lake and data ingestion and transformation challenges; ;
Talend or an ETL / comparable integration tool; ;
the principles of Data modeling, of data quality and governance; ;
the environments CI/CD, pipeline automation and industrialization; ;
the monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis; ;
Power BI or more broadly, the issues of data restitution and reporting; ;
the issues of performance, scalability, and deployment of complex data environments.

Knowledge of environments payment, banking, fraud or financial services will be a real asset.

Beyond the technical aspects, you know how to take a step back regarding an architecture, defend your recommendations, and challenge technical choices. You also enjoy mentoring: you are comfortable supporting developers, conducting code reviews, and collectively helping a team grow.
